Rosa, Dolce & Gabbana – Sicily DOC

Rosa wine is the result of an original blend of two black grape varieties, Nerello Mascalese and Nocera, amongst the most representative of Sicilian viticulture. Grown on volcanic soils, these grapes are able to express minerality and a refined floral component, perfect for the production of rosé wines. Nerello Mascalese expresses minerality and a refined floral component, while Nocera, an ancient and almost forgotten variety, provides an attractive fruity bouquet.

The winemaking process begins with the harvest of the best grapes, followed by a cold maceration and a gentle pressing to prepare the must. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Before being bottled, the wine matures for a few months in stainless steel vats.
