Description
Don Antonio – Nero d’avola – Sicilia DOC
Don Antonio is a sicilian Nero d’Avola DOC with a deep purple-red shade. Intense nose with plum jam, small red fruits, with an overtone of caper and spicy hints. Fresh sip, well balanced, structured, and persistent. The taste is full and tannins are very soft with spicy notes such as cinnamon, pepper and chocolate on the finish.
The Sicily Nero d’Avola DOC Don Antonio is produced in medium mixed clayey and calcareous soils at 450/500 metres above sea level. The vinification of the grapes is in stainless steel with 15 days of skin contact at a controlled temperature (about 25-28 C°) then the wine rests for 12 months in oak wood and another 12 months in the bottle.
Morgante
Quality, elegance, and excellence are the keys to Morgante wines production. In their estate situated between the sea and the Valley of the Temples, near Grotte in the province of Agrigento, Morgante produces refined wines, cultivated in the parched, clayey soil from which its vines grow. The Morgante family takes care of all stages of production from the cultivation of the grapes, the bottling process to the sale to consumers.
