Marchesi San Giuliano
The Marchesi di San Giuliano Agricultural Company is located between Catania and Syracuse, in a region rich in agricultural traditions. The company extends for 250 hectares, of which 50 are dedicated to the cultivation of citrus fruits. The first orange trees were planted in the far 800s and since then, the estate has been dedicated to the cultivation of oranges, avocados, olives, lemons, red grapefruits, tangerines, and nova clementines, following the strict rules of organic farming.
The Marchesi di San Giuliano have been adopting organic practices since 1993, using only organic fertilization and useful insects to control harmful insects, managing to produce healthier fruit compared to the times of chemical treatments.
