The orange marmalade from the Marchesi di San Giuliano is a burst of flavors with its golden pulp rich in zest, and its slightly bitter taste. Using 45g of fruit for every 100g of product, and 55g of total sugars per 100g, it offers an unmistakable taste that tastes like Sicily. Perfect not only for breakfast, but also for garnishing desserts such as ice cream or for glazing roasts and meats, giving the latter an unexpected and delicious touch. The marmalade is prepared with organically grown oranges, and only cane sugar, without additives, without pectin or thickeners. The result is a genuine product, appreciated for its bright color and the taste that it gives with each taste. It is packaged in a 460-gram jar.

Marchesi San Giuliano

The Marchesi di San Giuliano Agricultural Company is located between Catania and Syracuse, in a region rich in agricultural traditions. The company extends for 250 hectares, of which 50 are dedicated to the cultivation of citrus fruits. The first orange trees were planted in the far 800s and since then, the estate has been dedicated to the cultivation of oranges, avocados, olives, lemons, red grapefruits, tangerines, and nova clementines, following the strict rules of organic farming.

The Marchesi di San Giuliano have been adopting organic practices since 1993, using only organic fertilization and useful insects to control harmful insects, managing to produce healthier fruit compared to the times of chemical treatments. The company’s agroecosystem is in balance, with harmful insect species kept under control by useful species and observed agronomic practices.

The company is certified by Ecogruppo Italia, a control body authorized to certify companies that carry out organic farming, ensuring that the agricultural practices of the Marchesi di San Giuliano meet the high standards imposed by the European Community.
