Vignavella wine - 2022
MilazzoVignavella is a white wine of great personality, the result of the union of two different expressions of a single grape variety, grown in two distinct areas of the property: Vella and Munti. The particular company selection V10, derived from an ancient biotype of Catarratto, gives this wine a fascinating aromatic complexity. Excellent to enjoy at 12°C, it pairs perfectly with fatty fish dishes, grouper, black cod, desalted cod, crustaceans such as lobster and crayfish, but its structure also allows pairings with meats. Vignavella demonstrates a considerable aging potential, maintaining its elegance beyond 5 years.

Vignavella – Organic white wine
Produced for the first time in 2003, Vignavella comes from vines aged between 15 and 30 years, grown according to the guyot system, with a density of over 5600 stumps per hectare. The grapes are hand-harvested in September, followed by a cold maceration of about 24 hours and a soft pressing. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and maturation in steel can vary from six months to a year, with a final aging in the bottle of about 3 months.
The color of this wine is an intense straw yellow. On the nose, it explodes into yellow tropical notes, including yellow peach, ripe pineapple, and mango. In the mouth, Vignavella is rich, structured, full and warm, standing out for its particular persistence.
