Nubia red garlic patè – Slow food, organic, artisanal
This garlic is named after a small village near Paceco, in the province of Trapani; the red garlic has been recognised as a Slow Food Presidium since 2002.
The peculiar red-purple envelope that covers the cloves makes Nubia garlic a unique product that has been included among the traditional Sicilian food products recognised by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
From this excellent raw material comes the Simonte red garlic pate, which preserves all the antibiotic, purifying and anti-ageing properties of the raw material, grown in the company’s own fields.
The Simonte farm produces fine varieties of food products on the hilly lands of Trapani’s countryside. Here the company produces legumes, fruits, garlic following the ancient practice of rotation, allowing the soil to regenerate and make the best possible product. The farm is certified as an Organic Farm and it guarantees to consumers the quality of its raw materials and final products.
