Grappoli del Grillo is the first white wine that Marco De Bartoli decided to produce. The adventure of this wine began in 1990, at a time when Grillo, an austere and little-known grape variety, was used exclusively for the production of Marsala. This wine originates in Contrada Fornara Samperi, in the Marsala area, where a rigorous manual selection of the grapes is performed. Fermentation takes place with native yeasts at a controlled temperature, initially in stainless steel tanks, and ends in French oak barrels where it ages for 12 months. The result is a wine that can guarantee intensely fruity aromas, but always elegant, with a bitter, decisive, and persistent return. It is a Sicilian wine that contains all the values of De Bartoli: a sincere and potent man, who loves his land and shows it with his high-quality production.

Marco De Bartoli is a third-generation wine producer who has revolutionized wine production in Sicily. He started producing his first table white wine in 1990, relaunching the ancient Grillo grape variety, until then unknown and used only for the production of Marsala. The De Bartoli winery is located twelve kilometers from Marsala, in a land of Sicily that is great in every manifestation.
