Sicilian wine made from 100% Perricone grapes. Its color is ruby purple and deep, with a dark and penetrating appearance. It amazes the palate with a wide range of hints: berries, licorice, ginger and cloves are the main calling card.
The palate will appear elegant, sumptuous, fascinating, particularly persistent. We recommend the combination with first courses and meat-based main courses. Serve at a temperature between 16 and 18 degrees, on a traditional red wine glass.

Ribeca Firriato is a full-bodied red wine, fruit of the recovery of the Perricone relic vine, of which the Firriato winery has recovered the clone. It is a wine that best interprets the characteristics of a vine once widespread in the area of the Pianoro Cuddìa estate. Elegant on the palate, it has a characteristic aromatic complexity, appreciated by true wine lovers.
The Pianoro Cuddìa estate, in the province of Trapani, has the ideal characteristics for the cultivation of the Perricone vine. The dry and windy temperatures and climatic conditions allow the best exaltation of its strong character and the concentration of intense but at the same time very fine scents.
Harvesting is done by hand, between the third decade of September and the first of October. Vinified according to tradition in thermo controlled stainless steel tanks, it is aged for 10-12 months in French oak barriques. The wine has a deep, purplish ruby red colour and a complex but characteristic bouquet. At the glass you can perceive tones of blackberry, plum and morello cherry. The real wine lover will certainly perceive nuances of liquorice, ginger, cloves and juniper. On the palate the tannins are very fresh and elegant, very persistent. What comes out of it is a wine with sumptuous features, with very controlled acidity. An imperious wine, a complex and balanced variety of scents and aromas.
