Isolano, Dolce & Gabbana – Etna white DOC

Produced in the municipalities of Randazzo and Castiglione di Sicilia, Isolano comes from vineyards located between 700 and 750 meters above sea level, on terraces contained by dry stone walls made of lava stone. This location gives the wine a rich minerality and freshness, with a marked note of sapidity. The grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After fermentation, the wine matures in these same tanks for 9 months, and then it is bottled and aged for another 12 months.

Isolano presents itself with a straw-yellow color with golden reflections. On the nose, it expresses fragrant citrus scents of lemon peel, fruity notes of yellow apple, and finally of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, Isolano stands out for its enveloping elegance, persistence, and exceptional volcanic minerality. These characteristics, together with its long taste persistence, make it a white wine of great elegance and longevity.

The wine’s packaging is designed by Dolce & Gabbana, who wanted to celebrate Sicily through the vibrant colors and typical geometric shapes of the Sicilian cart. The smoking Etna stands in the center of the label, a symbol of a whole territory and culture.
