Bukkuram Sole D’Agosto – Pantelleria passito DOC
Bukkuram Sole D’Agosto is a Passito di Pantelleria made from pure Zibibbo grapes, from the Bukkuram district, with vines between 35 and 51 years old. The grapes undergo a drying process that takes place partly on the plant and partly in the sun. Subsequently, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and a 6-month refinement in steel with a quick passage in non-new barriques precede bottling. This wine is golden with amber reflections, with an intense and persuasive nose that evokes orange blossom, dehydrated apricot, briny gusts, and aromatic herbs. The sip is full and creamy, punctuated by a refreshing sweetness that is never intrusive, but also enlivened by a precise contribution of freshness and sapidity. A real masterpiece.
