Brut Nature sparkling wine

Brut Nature – VSQ(Quality Sparkling Wine), Classic Method, Brut

Produced in vineyards over 25 years old located on a plateau of marly origin, highly calcareous and clayey, this sparkling wine is the result of a careful manual harvest of the grapes in the first half of August. The refinement of the sparkling bases takes place partly in steel, partly in oak barrels, culminating in a maturation of at least 48 months on the lees.

The wine presents itself with a beautiful crystalline color, light yellow with adequate green reflections, a persistent and excellently crafted perlage. On the nose, it is rich, complex, and refined, with hints of green apple and pear accompanied by pleasant aromatic vegetable notes and hints of bread crust. In the mouth, the wine is very tasty and persistent, with a citrine acidity that invites the sip.

Milazzo

The Milazzo winery, located in Campobello di Licata, a small Sicilian town between Agrigento, Caltanissetta, and Licata, is a family business rooted in this part of southern Sicily, involved in viticulture for five generations. A pioneer in sparkling wine production and producer of Classic Method in Sicily, Milazzo continues to combine tradition and innovation under the guidance of Giuseppina Milazzo and Saverio Lo Leggio.

The winery extends its vineyards for about 97 hectares, located on lands of different morphologies, offering each plot a unique terroir. The focus on organic and the principle of sustainability, the careful management of manual pruning, and the density of the plants are just some of the aspects that make Milazzo a producer of high-quality wines, respectful of the environment and future generations.
