Anchovy fillets – From Mediterranean Sea, Processed in Sciacca

Curreri’s anchovy fillets are a superior quality product, processed and packaged directly after being caught in the Mediterranean Sea (FAO ZONE 37). This process allows the freshness and distinctive flavour of the anchovies to be preserved.

The salting, carried out with salt from the Trapani salt pans, adds a unique and unmistakable taste to the anchovy fillets. Furthermore, the fillets undergo a maturation process of at least 45 days, which further enhances the organoleptic quality of the product. The ingredients are simple and natural: anchovies (Engraulis encrasicolus), sunflower seed oil, and salt.

Original Curreri is a family-run company established in 1995 with the aim of creating an advanced industrial plant for the processing, preservation, and marketing of blue fish. From the outset, the Curreri family has focused on high-quality raw materials, using only the freshest fish caught in the Mediterranean and Cantabrian seas and salt from the Trapani and Marsala salt pans.

Curreri’s mission is to constantly reduce the environmental impact of its activities. To achieve this goal, the company has installed a photovoltaic system that makes it 100% self-sufficient and zero-impact. This dedication to sustainability reflects Curreri’s deep respect for the environment and its commitment to producing quality food in the most responsible way possible.
