Caro Maestro Fina IGT
Dear Maestro Fina, it is a red wine with Sicilian roots, and that looks with ambition to the great international inspirations. To confirm this, and in particular the French references, it is produced using grapes from three grape varieties traditionally used in transalpine wineries, as is the case with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
The harvesting and processing of the grapes is followed by 24 months of aging in barriques with the French model, and a further 8 months in bottle, accompanying the wine towards a harmonious balance that will not fail to stand out when it is served and tasted. The result of this process that the Fina cellars carry out in a passionate way is an unforgettable, important red wine with fruit aromas and persistent notes.
Poured over a large glass, the wine has a dark ruby colour. On the nose it has clear aromas of ripe dark berry fruit, aromatic herbs, spices and berry jam. On the palate it is very important, with complex and rather rich aromas.
Served at a temperature between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius, after or not a period of storage and rest in the cellar (up to more than 5 years), because of its characteristics it goes very well with second courses of roasted, grilled or stewed meat. It is also ideal with mature and blue-veined cheeses.
