The outer skins are white, while the inner cloves take on a bright red hue – the distinctive hallmark of this variety. Thanks to its high allicin content, it boasts an intense, above-average aromatic profile that withstands long cooking times and retains great character even when eaten raw.

This large braid ensures uniform bulb size and practical use: cloves can be removed as needed while the rest remains protected.
