Bee pollen represents one of the most complete foods in nature. Extremely rich in protein (approx. 30%), it contains as many as 20 of the 22 amino acids found in dietary protein, making it particularly suitable for supplementing daily protein requirements. Just 30 grams (about two level tablespoons) are sufficient to cover an adult’s daily protein requirement. Pollen also contains essential vitamins, including those of the B group, vitamins A, PP, C, H, E, as well as enzymes, minerals and trace elements useful to the body.

In addition to its nutritional properties, bee pollen offers numerous health benefits. It is an excellent regulator of intestinal flora, helps stimulate gastric functions and contributes to balancing the nervous system, reducing states of stress and mental fatigue. It is also recommended to combat anaemia, especially in children, and may offer benefits in the treatment of prostatic hypertrophy-related problems.

It is recommended to consume it pure or diluted in yoghurt, milk or water, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach (one teaspoon for children, one tablespoon for adults), gradually increasing the amount if necessary. The intake can be repeated a couple of times a year to maintain and reinforce the benefits obtained.
