This Easter cake is made with high quality ingredients, such as fresh eggs from free-range hens, selected butter and Sicilian honey, which contribute to a soft and fragrant dough. The absence of traditional sultanas and candied fruit is replaced by small pieces of William pears, which provide natural sweetness, and drops of dark chocolate. The natural leavening process, which lasts 36 hours, gives an airy structure and an intense aroma. The white chocolate and milk chocolate crunchy topping completes the taste experience, creating a pleasant contrast between soft and crunchy.
