Handmade in Modica

Cold-processed according to Modica tradition, it preserves the distinct aromas of cocoa with hints of toast and dried fruit, honeyed nuances and a clean finish. The deliberately slightly grainy texture—due to the intact sugar crystals—gives it a pleasant chewiness and a gradual release of aromas. In pastry making, it offers control over sweetness and a balanced structure; in cooking, it enhances doughs and creams without overpowering them.

Antica Dolceria Bonajuto

Antica Dolceria Bonajuto, founded in 1880 in Modica, has been handing down the art of cold-processed chocolate for six generations. The selection of raw materials follows ethical criteria (cocoa from certified supply chains), and each bar is finished by hand.
