Sciacca smoked anchovy fillets – Authentic and intense flavour

Curreri anchovies are caught in the Mediterranean Sea and processed by hand in Sciacca on the same day, ensuring absolute freshness and superior quality. Following an ancient tradition, the fillets are salted with pure sea salt from Trapani and aged for at least 45 days. During this period, they acquire a perfect consistency and an intense flavour, complemented by artisanal smoking, a historic method used to preserve and enhance the flavour of blue fish.

In addition to their characteristic robust and enveloping flavour, Curreri smoked anchovy fillets are rich in nutritional properties: noble proteins, omega-3 fatty acids essential for well-being, B vitamins and minerals fundamental for health. Founded in 1995, Original Giuseppe Curreri Srl is a family business based in Sciacca, in western Sicily, specialising in the artisanal processing of fish products. Curreri has always been synonymous with high quality, thanks to the selection of the best raw materials from the Mediterranean and Cantabrian Seas, carefully processed using traditional techniques.

The company is particularly attentive to environmental sustainability, using self-produced energy from photovoltaic systems. Every stage of production is strictly controlled, from selection to curing, to offer genuine and authentic products, respecting Sicilian tradition and the environment.
