The Maria Luisa Renda farm, located in the heart of the D.O.P. “Trapani Valleys”, represents a corner of western Sicily rich in history and traditions in the art of producing high-quality olive oil. With over 40 years of experience in the wine and food sector, the Renda family has been dedicated since 2006 to the creation of a top-quality extravirgin olive oil (EVO), a product of love for the land and devotion to the local olive heritage.
The Renda extra virgin olive oil, 100% organic product, combines 3 predominant olive varieties, the Nocellara del Belice, Biancolilla and Cerasuola. This unique blend gives our oil a distinctive character, reflecting the richness and diversity of the Sicilian land. The oil is unfiltered and cold-pressed, aiming to preserve the organoleptic and nutritional qualities of the olives, such as minerals, vitamins, and natural antioxidants.
The oil of the Maria Luisa Renda farm has an acidity rate of less than 0.5, indicative of a meticulous production process, from the quality of the olives to the management of their entry into the oil mill, through the extraction process. Our oil is the result of careful control of all production stages, from the field to bottling.
Rich in organoleptic characteristics, our EVO oil stands out visually for its density and intense green colour, with golden reflections. On the nose, the clear aroma of the olive blends with hints of hay and cut herbs, giving an elegant taste. On the palate, the alternation of sweet, bitter and spicy notes and the persistent finish express the perfect synergy between the Nocellara, Biancolilla, and Cerasuola olive varieties.
The Maria Luisa Renda farm began its adventure in 2006 in Locogrande, in Trapani, an area enriched by the presence of centuries-old olive groves. The organic cultivation approach from the beginning has allowed the achievement of a prestigious community certification.
